Task two-maths
1.I know,
Base,b =5.4cm
Height,h=3.8cm
Find out :
Area of the triangle=?
Solution:
Area of the triangle = b×h÷2
The area of triangle in pic 1 = 5.4cmx3.8cm ÷ 2
=20.52 cm square ÷ 2
=10.26cm squared
2.I know,
Base,b =0.5cm
Height,h=3cm
Find out :
Area of the triangle=?
Solution:
Area of the triangle = b×h ÷ 2
The area for pic 2 =
0.5cmx3cm ÷ 2
=1.5cm squared ÷ 2
=0.75cm squared
3.I know,
Base,b =3.2cm
Height,h=2.2cm
Find out :
Area of the triangle=?
Solution:
Area of the triangle = b×h÷2
The area for pic 3 is-
3.2cmx2.2cm
=7.04cm square ÷ 2
=3.5cm square
Task three-maths
Q. Why finding the area of a right-angled triangle is base multiplied by height, divided by 2?
A.Because when a square or rectangle is divided in half diagonally it becomes a right angled triangle. As the area of a rectangle is length x width the right-angle triangle is the half of it.
