Catch it me as a pomegranate & explaining my story from the grave!!!

Catch it me as a pomegranate & explaining my story from the grave

Intro-
I’m telling my story from the grave.  Well, it was all because of 10 cats looking things, I think you call them meerkats!!! I WAS a really ripe and plump pomegranate, ready to get eaten at any second. 10 meerkats looked after me really well but I couldn't thank them in any way since I don't have a mouth so I can’t speak.

Paragraph 1-
Early one morning, the 10 meerkats came jumping on four legs towards my leafy, tall tree.  “Ooh, there come my owners,” I said to myself. They all had reddish brown skin all around them but their tummies were a peachy brown sandy colour. The leader of the meerkat’s mob came and touched me but a shadow appeared……….
Paragraph 2-
It was a hungry vulture with a beak shaped like a witch’s nose.  His wings were all black like a killer whale and his tummy was grey and peach.  A hump like a camel sat on top of his bald head. Oh no, he cut my stem and flew away with me in his claws.
Paragraph 3-
The 10 meerkats raced after the vulture to retrieve me. I really appreciated these meerkats. Then one of these amazing creatures jumped onto the bird’s claw and got a hold of me tightly. After that meerkats formed a chain from the claw to the ground.

 Paragraph 4-
The miserable vulture flew higher into the sky, still clutching me with its powerful grip.  Then the meerkats all scattered, gliding and tumbling through the air. One meerkat saved me from the bird’s clutches and tossed me through the air to his fellow gang members. The meerkats then formed an upside down pyramid on the vulture’s back.  Fortunately, they jumped off before the hideous creature banged into a stone wall. I tumbled towards the earth but luckily one of the meerkats caught me. The mob of meerkats then started to run, passing me around like a rugby ball.
Conclusion-

However, one of the meerkats kicked me over two trees that acted as goal posts. I then splattered all over the ground and then realized that it was the end of my life. I felt so upset that I trusted them to care for me but they actually just wanted to play rugby with me!!! So if you don’t mind, I need some privacy to be by myself and process the fact that I  died too soon.

Mr Tomokino's experiment- Rm3

Water Filter Experiment

 Aim/ Purpose -
To filter or clean water using a number of materials
How to clean/filter water - making it clean

Materials -
Sand
gravel
activated charcoal
cotton wool
plastic bottles cut in half
bucket of dirty water (can make the water dirty with soil or whatever from outside)

Predictions - What is going to work best?  What steps/process and in what order - why?
Cotton wool at the bottom - It will absorb the smaller dirt particles from the dirty water
2nd layer up - gravel - The gravel will grab onto the dirty parts and the clean water will drip off the gravel through the gaps.
Second Layer Up  - Charcoal - Second smallest material, can absorb the things not cleared by the bigger materials.
Third Layer Up - Sand - Turns hard when it’s wet - Take all the bigger dirt particles
Top layer - Gravel - All the hugest dirt particles out first.

Method/Steps:
First tryle-
Sand
Charcoal
Gravel
Cotton balls
Second tryle-
Charcoal
Gravel
Sand
Cotton balls
Explanation - How did it work?
The gravel collected the abounding bits.
The cotton kept the miniscule bits.
The sand held on to the immensed bits.
The charcoal gathered the particles that the other materials couldn't get to.
Why is it important for cities/towns etc to purify and clean the water before it gets to peoples’ homes?
The water should get cleaned before it enters people's homes is because then it doesn't cause flu, diseases, chemicals, bacteria and infections into the human body or any pet body, it also helps catch algae.
