Describe how particles in water change when we change between different states of matter form a solid to liquid to gas.
The particles or molecules in a solid are a definite shape. The particles or molecules in a liquid are able to take any shape but will still have the same volume. The particles or molecules in a gas are really free they just go crazy!!!! The change happens when the temperature changes like when you put water{liquid} into the freezer the particles or molecules slowly start to come together and then it turns into a solid. When you take the ice{solid} out then it will turn to a liquid and then the particles or molecules will start to move around and spread. If then you start to boil that water{liquid} it will become a gas and then the particles or molecules will become super free and crazy!!!!
